Greetings to the Lions of New England,
Your New England Lions Council (NELC) is pleased to provide you with the details for our next Regular Meeting, to be held on Saturday, February 25, 2012 at the Holiday Inn Boxborough in Boxborough, MA.
Our third meeting of the 2011-2012 Lions Year will provide new opportunities for you to share in the camaraderie of your fellow Lions. You will hear from our very busy District Governors, as well as from our Global Leadership Team and Global Membership Team Coordinators. In addition, we will be offering three very informative presentations covering the most current topics of tax and legal issues impacting our Lions Clubs, as well as a most important and timely presentation for our Lions on “Women and Families in Lions” by International Director Carolyn Messier.
For those of you planning to arrive in Boxborough on Friday evening to take advantage of the hotel’s package pricing, the NELC Executive Committee will be hosting a Hospitality Room from 9:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Please plan to join us!
Please complete and send in your registration form (attached) today, and spread the word throughout your respective Districts at your earliest convenience. Remember, NELC is open to all Lions. This registration information will be posted on your District websites, distributed via e-mail, Facebook and snail mail to as many Lions as possible.
We hope to have a great turnout for this meeting, following up on the success of our prior gatherings. Your efforts in communicating this event will make this happen!
